Condizioni : copertina frontalmente laminata con un moderato ring wear maggiormente visibile sul lato posteriore; grande stato, EX+ / vinile in apparenza con pochi segnetti ma l'ascolto rivela alcuni ben udibili crepitii nella prima traccia del lato A oltre a qualche più moderato clicchettio e/o rumore di fondo in a3 e b1; discreto stato, VG+

Condition : cover frontally laminated shows a moderate ring wear more visible on the back side, EX+ / vinyl in appearance with few signs but listening reveals some well audible crackles in the first track of A-side in addition to more aurally moderate clicks and/or ticking noises on a3 and b1, VG+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : cinque brani scelti da due episodi del film: "Nuits Romaines" (a2, a3, b1) e "Mademoiselle Mimi" (a1, b2). Quest'ultimi hanno titoli dedicati al regista: Philippe de Broca. La prima traccia contiene un buon tema d'atmosfera con violini, pianoforte e flauto. "Roma" è caratterizzata da sonorità convulse ed esoticheggianti di vari strumenti a fiato e a corda supportati da percussioni, "Antica Roma" è un tema romantico dal lento andamento condotto dalla chitarra acustica. "Erotica Roma" ha un'atmosfera sonora con un tocco d'esotismo guidata da strumenti a fiato e raffigurante immaginariamente gli antici festini Romani come quelli narrati da Petronio Arbitro nel Satyricon, "Broca II" propone una vivace musica che ricorda una danza da saloon del vecchio West.

Notes : five excerpts from two film episodes, "Nuits Romaines" (a2, a3, b1) and "Mademoiselle Mimi" (a1, b2). The latter have titles dedicated to the director: Philippe de Broca. The first track contains a good atmospheric theme with violins, piano and flute. "Roma" is characterized by frantic and exotic music from various wind and stringed instruments backed by percussion, "Antica Roma" is a romantic theme from the slow development led by acoustic guitar. "Erotica Roma" features sonorities with a touch of exoticism led by wind instruments and imaginatively depicting an ancient Roman feast such as the one recounted in the Satyricon by Petronius Arbiter, "Broca II" has a lively music recollecting an old West saloon dance. 

Gradevole commedia pseudo-storica in un film coprodotto da Francia, Italia e Germania. Diviso in sei episodi diretti da celebri registi: Claude Autant-Lara, Mauro Bolognini, Philippe de Broca, Jean-Luc Godard, Franco Indovina e Michel Pfleghar. Un nugolo di attori, ne cito solo qualcuno: Michèle Mercier, Enrico Maria Salerno, France Anglade, Francis Blanche, Jacques Charrier, Anna Karina, Marilù Tolo, Raquel Welch, Martin Held. I due episodi che riguardano il disco sono:

Notti Romane (Nuits Romaines): regia di Mauro Bolognini, con Elsa Martinelli, Gastone Moschin e Giancarlo Cobelli.

La Ghigliottina (Mademoiselle Mimi): regia di Philippe de Broca, con Jeanne Moreau, Jean-Claude Brialy e Jacques Monod.
