A FEW MORE VARIOUS GOOD QUALITY CLASSICAL LPS BEFORE WE MOVE ON TO OTHER THINGS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1960 CAPITOL RECORDS U.S. ISSUE MONO LP titled 'the Magic Bow' containing performances of eight short works for violin and orchestra by seven different composers as performed by the legendary violinist Michael Rabin with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, Felix Slatkin conducting. It is Capitol Records catalog number P8510, thick rigid vinyl early pressing, black labels with rainbow border and blue Capitol log and vertical line on the left sides of the labels, thick cardboard cover with glossy laminated front cover slick. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original Capitol Records stock inner sleeve with pictures of Capitol Records classical music artists. Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of cover is a low VG+ with a grade that low only due to the fact that the top layer of paper is missing over the upper 9" of the spine (Spine is not split in this area). There is also a little bit of wear along the edges of the front cover slick, a small stained area on the back cover where a price sticker has been removed, a little general ring and contact wear, and some general wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, writing, or stickers. This LP would make a choice addition to any stringed classical record collection!
