MICHAEL RABIN - Paganini Caprices Columbia Records ML 2168 MONO DEEP GROOVE 1951 Original
A beautiful rare 1951 original, this 1st recording by a then-13-year-old Rabin is an exceptional example and a wonderful listen for most, but please do not expect audiophile levels of perfection from this 1951 vintage vinyl: surface noise is inherent in these early 10” LPs.
In sharp condition with very little use, this 10” LP does have some pressing defects and minor surface scuffing. It appears rarely-played. The A-Side plays VG+ with some background noise, mostly inherent in the pressing and not from any (because there are really none) flaws. This record has some pressing dots / defects that are mostly inaudibe except on B1 which has a large bump audible (did not skip for us), rendering the B-side VG, otherwise the side plays a similar VG+ to the a-side.
STEINWEISS Cover is a sharp EX- with a split beginning at bottom right and minor discoloration (& a small date written) on rear.
AG McAleer made it clear this was his record with stickers on the front and labels, but bid now and this can be your record!
