Description

This is a very rare item of interest to all Monkees collectors - a one sided demo disc of one of his pre-Monkees 45's, 'The New Recruit' credited to Michael Nesmith's pseudonym, as namechecked in his famous 'audition clip' for the TV show, Michael Blessing. . Commercially issued on Colpix, the predecessor to Colgems, the Monkees' bespoke label for their musical releases, the label here bears the address of the Wally Heider Studio in Hollywood, where the song was recorded. It is on thick vinyl and has the spiral scratch and label on one side only. Any questions please ask.
