MICHAEL BLOUNT LP 1970 CBS 1st Press A1/B1 COMPLETELY UNIQUE WRONG TITLE

On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Michael Blount called "Patchwork / Light Funk" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Orange CBS label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS ONE OF MICHAEL BLOUNT'S RAREST LPs EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1970 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS, AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!  THIS LP IS MADE EVEN RAREST STILL - AS IT IS COMPLETELY UNIQUE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  ITS 1 PREVIOUS OWNER WORKED AT CBS FOR OVER 10 YEARS THROUGHOUT THE 1960s AND 1970s.  NATRUALLY HE WAS ALLOWED TO TAKE RECORDS HOME (USUALLY MISPRINTS, OR ERRORS WHICH WERE NO USE TO THE FACTORY).  AND THIS LP WAS NO EXCEPTION.  ORIGINALLY THIS LP WAS DUE TO BE TITLED 'LIGHT FUNK' AND AROUND 50 COPIES HAD BEEN MADE BEFORE PRESSING WAS HALTED.  AND THIS WAS BECAUSE THE TITLE OF THE LP WAS CHANGED FROM 'LIGHT FUNK' TO 'PATCHWORK'.  NOW THE 1 PREVIOUS OWNER WAS MOST INSISTENT THAT ALL COPIES WERE DESTROYED APART FROM THIS ONE, AS HE PERSONALLY SAW TO IT.  THIS WAS THE ONLY COPY HE KEPT, AND HE THEN ALSO RETAINED A FINISHED COPY OF THE LP WITH THE CORRECT TITLE.  THEREFORE THERE ARE 2 DISCS OF THE SAME LP - ONE INCORRECTLY TITLED 'LIGHT FUNK' AND ONE WITH THE CORRECTED TITLE 'PATCHWORK'!!!!  OF COURSE, NOT WANTING TO COMPLETELY BELIEVE THE ONE PREVIOUS OWNER I HAVE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE FOR ANOTHER COPY EXISTING WITH THIS TITLE.  I COULD FIND NO COPIES.  NOW OF COURSE I STAND TO BE CORRECTED.  BUT WITH ALL THE EVIDENCE KNOWN TO ME AT THIS TIME, I AM 100% CERTAIN THAT THIS LP IS 100% UNIQUE, AND THE ONLY 1ST PRESSING LEFT IN EXISTENCE WITH THIS TITLE!!!!  AND THIS MUST MAKE THIS LP THE RAREST LP EVER RELEASED ON THE CBS LABEL!!!!

NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB CONDITION - AND HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL (BOTH RECORDS)!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!!  THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS ORANGE CBS LABEL, 1 DISC WITH THE INCORRECT 'LIGHT FUNK' TITLE, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS A/A STAMPERS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVES, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL CBS UK 1st Pressing from 1970 and is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The Cat. No is CBS 64230 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press CBS label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!! 

The record labels on BOTH records are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THESE RECORDS HAVE BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl to BOTH records is in SUPERB condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and BOTH records have NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 2 or 3 MEGA light scuffline traces, and only some very VERY light paper scuffing under light (simply from sitting untouched in the inner sleeves for many years!)!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORDS STILL RETAIN THEIR ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the records is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  They play with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The records must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORDS!!!!  Believe me these records are NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!!  The records also come in their ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeves which are in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  It has NO sticker marks, NO sticker tears, NO spinal wear (side words PERFECT!), NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor 'touching in' traces to the edges, NO edge splits, NO spine splits, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL (virtually NONE!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!!  Even the unlaminated back of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO yellowing, NO grubbyness, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  BRILLIANT COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS (ESPECIALLY AS THIS ONE IS UNIQUE!) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
