Very obscure and offbeat Miami soul ballad, arranged by Florida's own Rufus Beacham. You'll either love or hate Alberta's voice -- there's really no middle ground here. Deep soul expert John Ridley (aka Sir Shambling) describes "My Search Is Over" like this:"Over a dead slow rhythm she sings with regret and sorrow - completely at odds with the lyrics she describes when finding her true love. The downward cadence of the chord changes is terrific as is the playing of the lead guitarist and the horn arrangement." The label was a part of Tropical Records and follows their numbering system.
