~ Cancon Vinyl Auctions ~ You are bidding on this Ultra Rare Canadian Garage 45 by M.G. & The Escorts entitled " I Can't Go On " b/w " The One Who Wants You" on Reo Records 8960X, original Canadian pressing from 1965.
Ultra Rare and total killer Canadian Garage 45 release by M.G. & The Escorts from Montreal Canadas that is gaining a great deal of attention from worldwide garage fuzz collectors.
Very rarely surfacing, this 45 had a very small pressing run just like "A Someday Fool"...and just as good - if not better on the fuzz side. As a bonus, I am including a free group shot photo copy of this band ( see scan).
Fantastic high pitched echoed electric fuzz guitar work on the A-Side with some winding electric fuzz guitar riffs. Vocals are strong and punchy also...but you need to listen to this track loud to actually hear and feel all the spectacular special effects blended in to all this fuzz...definitely not Mersey beat at all...just pure fuzz garage in many spots.
The B-Side is definitely Mersey beat however- a love song track done with a British flair.
This exceptional 45 is truly worth adding to your existing Canadian garage 45 collection.
An outstanding beautiful Radio Station copy with nice clean labels other than very light impression wear.
The vinyl is absolutely superb other than barely visible original "pitted manufacturing molding" on the A-Side label that does not affect play.
