Description
This is my personal copy of The Who "Face Dances" in all of its half-speed master tape glory. Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) did their recording magic on this Original Master Recording. (If you don't know what all that means, MFSL licensed the rights to make high quality vinyl pressings using the original master tape that the recording--Face Dances--was created on. They then re-recorded and re-pressed new vinyl from that master tape played at half speed to get the full, clean sonic properties of that recording. Then pressed into thick virgin vinyl--you can see light through the vinyl--try that with your regular records. All this is to get the best possible sound recording of any given record. Your normal records were usually pressed after several generations of tape transfer, thus a serious degradation of sound. Original Masters are an audiophile's dream.)
The jacket is in near mint condition with the exception of the cut-out hole in the lower right corner. The vinyl is excellent+ to near mint. Buy with confidence. I babied my record collection.
