SOUND SAMPLE AUTO STARTED WHEN YOU OPENED THE PAGE, TURN UP THE VOLUME... and have a READ . 

The first 50 seconds of sample are very quiet, TURN....UP....THE.....VOLUME !!!!

First pressing lowest possible matrix stampers, early block letter banner cover, read on for detail.......

Sample is of opening track for about 3 minutes 10 seconds, from first side, with a 15 second gap while I flip the disc. then nearly 3 minutes side two opening track. This is the most prone area to have scratches or needle drop damage, As you can hear,  very clean, the rest plays no worse than this.

Sound sample is not there to display quality of MFSL analogue mastering. How can it?, the sample is digital at only 192kbps ,  its there to show how clean the opening few minutes each side are........

THIS MFSL pressing on JVC Virgin Vinyl pressed in Japan, highly sought after in Audiophile circles. Engineered re master from Original Master Tapes, remastered for the HI FI market as opposed to the standard issue engineered for radio broadcast. CONDITION REPORT BELOW .

 This is One of the early mobile Fidelity Sound Lab productions first issued in 1979, (first mobile issues 1979), and believed due to stamper number to be a first pressing, so hard to find in really good condition.   MFSL stock code 1-017

First Pressing details

Gatefold Jacket  Upright Block letters in the yellow banner "ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING"  Later issues soon after had italicised block letters (slope to right)

LP Matrix details  Stan Ricker initials in dead wax "SR 2" which they all had, then matrix

side 1          A-2 -1   also  211+ F

side 2          B-2-1    also  215 +

later issues I have have B3 on side B and the 'also' numbers are higher than 211 and 215 and have the italicised yellow banner on he cover.

Summary  

Comes with MFSL Archive quality inner sleeve, inner early card stiffener, so early it is blank on the inside, (later they advertised other pressings)

ALSO comes with blank marketing survey and yellow warranty sheet that explains all MFSL had tics that required playing and polishing as they did not de horn metal parts to aviod damage to the high frequencies and transients (see photo 6)

LP Rated -Near Mint MINUS (No scratches,  as you can hear no effect to sound quality, only very fine paper scuffs in bright sunlight

COVER- VG+++++++++++++++,mainly the non laminated all black finish is what suffers from shelf wear on these, no seam splits or bends, a bit of light edgewear, but all the high points on the matte black cover have worn to grey or a few small white spots. THE last photo is done with a FLASH to highlight it at its worst, if you think your cover is better, go and take a flash photo in sunlight and see how it compares then, coz that photo makes it look REAL bad !!!!!.

Corners are very mildly worn or rounded, (take a close look in supersize photo mode) Mild  ring wear, shows as more intense wear in the matte black

 LABEL - NM minus due to spindle rotation on one side only and previous owner chose side 1 to put the LAST teatment sticker on the LP.

Last is an Audiophile recognised Archive treatment that reduces wear to the vinyl and protects the LP for upto 200 'Plays'  (of which i reckon this has only had 2 or 3 spins in total)

UK Buyers BE AWARE !! Post limit of 4GBP as stipulated by ebay, (even for overseas sellers) GOOD NEWS!! unlike other sellers I will only charge the 4GBP to Post it to you BUT BAD NEWS..... It will arrive via the same method as if it was posted in UK, by SURFACE MAIL, and as that involves a slow ship via China and other indirect world zones it may take upto 3 MONTHS  to get to you. There is an option on your UK invoice for Economy mail, which will be by Air Mail and therefore the regular 10-15 days, SO UNLESS you want to get it VERY SLOWLY.... I would strongly recommend paying the optional invoice amount of GBP13.30
