Mit “Storms of Life” aus dem Jahre 1986 schrieb der damals 27-jährige Randy Travis Country-Geschichte. Zum 35-jährigen Jubiläum der Platte wurde diese von Mobile Fidelity neu (und nummeriert) aufgelegt und überzeugt durch großartige Klarheit und Wärme. Das mit Vierfach-Platin ausgezeichnete Album war Travis‘ Startschuss in eine große Karriere und brachte ihm einen Platz in der Country Music Hall of Fame ein. Die lässige Mischung aus Honky Tonk, Country, Western mit Travis angenehm voller Stimme ist ein tiefgehender, stimmungsvoller Hörgenuss.

Das Remastering für Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab übernahmen Krieg Wunderlich und Shawn R. Britton.
