Description
This is a sealed copy of Sir George Solti & The London Philharmonic performing Holst: The Planets by Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs #MFQR 1-510. This is still sealed in the factory packaging and has never been opened. The pictures don't do the box justice, but it is in great shape. There is some minor, very minor scuffing on the plastic shrink wrap, but the box looks great. Nice square corners and no damage.
The mobile Fidelity UHQR recordings are certified as being derived exclusively from the original master tape. They are half-speed mastered and pressed in Japan (by Victor Company of Japan) on high definition super vinyl.
They are individually numbered, but you have to open the package to get the pressing number, and this one is still sealed, so I'll leave it to the lucky winner to decide if he/she wants to open it.
The UHRQ pressings are all out of print, and a sealed copy is very, very rare. Here's a great chance to pick up a stellar recording for your collection.
I'm sure you want to ask why I'm selling it. Well, we are had a baby girl this spring (our first), woohoo! I've collected about 12,000 records over the years and now it's time to slim down some of the collection to make some space. Review my feedback and bid with confidence. Shipping is $7.00 for shipments INSIDE the Continental USA (Priority Mail). The LP will be double in a heavy duty corrugated box for safety in transit. Paypal is preferred, but I also accept cashier's checks, money orders, and personal checks (item held until personal check clears- usually 7-10 days) are accepted. Insurance is available for an extra fee, but I will pack all items professionally and securely.
