Description

Hello

This Auction is for a MFSL Greatful Dead - American Beauty Test Pressing.

So, This Ultrasonically cleaned LP is up for auction.
(Cleaned in a High End Audio Store where I bought my Turntable / Phono Cartridge)

I just spent A LOT of money there so even the records I didn't get from them (they sold LPs also), they cleaned for free
It was an expensive machine, Large Rectangular and silver – like $2500 8 years ago. Forgot the name of it though.

I bought the TT and records several years before I had a working system, so most of my records were never played.

But, after it was Ultrasonically cleaned - we listened to it on one of their High End Systems in their store.

I was upset because I thought it was an Emmylou Harris TP, and with their I Phone they verified it was Greatful Dead American Beauty.

That Side One was the only time it was played when I had it.

Everyone but me was Raving about it - I'm not really a "Dead Head"

Someone bought this in a previous auction, but backed out because they said it was a "Sample Pressing" not a "Test Pressing"

I bought it as a Test Pressing because I think it is.

Test Pressings always have Scribe Marks scraped near the blank label - I included photos of the scribe marks on both sides.

I have had Sample Pressings in the past, but they had normal record labels and covers and Sample Pressing stamped on the LP Cover and they NEVER had and scribe marks near the label

But whatever you think this is - if you want it, it's up for auction.

Thank you
