Bob Dylan first hired ‘The Band’ for his U.S. tour in 1965 and The World Tour 1968

In 1967 they made the informal recordings with Dylan that became known as ‘The Basement Tapes’. Those recordings were the basis for Bob Dylan’s 1968 album with ‘The Band’, ‘Music From The Big Pink’

‘Before The Flood’ peaked at?No.3 on the Billboard 200, reached No.8 on the popular album chart in the UK, and has been Certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of American. If you are a fan of 'The Band' you will love this album. Half the songs are by Bob Dylan the other half are by 'The Band'

It was released: June 20, 1974 In my opinion this is a great sounding album.

The concert recordings took place on February 13–14, 1974, in Los Angeles, except for track # 4 which was recorded on January 30, 1974, in New York.

Sides one and four are performances by Bob Dylan backed by the Band; side two and tracks four through six on side three are by the Band; tracks one through three on side three by Dylan alone. "Blowin’ In The Wind'

" is a splice of two separate performances.
