Description
This is a 2 LP 1/2 speed mastered album titled "Chicago Transit Authority" (Mobile Fidelity MFSL 2.-128) (1984). ------- ************************************************************************************ Now let me say that this is not a perfect museum piece. It is in fact a perfect album for someone that wants to actually listen to it. There is a couple of small, almost invisible scratches on side 1, and another on side 4 that might just be dust scratches. I can't tell. There is also a weird little spot about the size of a match head on side 2. It seems to be something in the way the vinyl formed. Anyway, it plays through without any obvious noise. Overall, the whole album plays with light to moderate surface noise. Nothing major. The gatefold jacket has a number of bend marks, the worst is in the upper right corner that you can see in the photo. The original stiffners are included. The photo is of the actual item for sale. -------- Like I said; it's a great PLAY copy, not something to be locked up in a vault, and is priced accordingly. This is your chance to get it cheap and enjoy it !! This used Japanese pressing is probably quieter than the new domestic repress. ******************************** Please see my other ads for more unusual sealed and audiophile items such as direct discs, 1/2 speed LP's and gold CD's.
