This is a sealed copy of the two 1998 DEF Jam LP records. I worked for PolyGram records in the 90s, DEF jam was one of our labels and I received this then. It has sat sealed in my office for over 20 years. There is a slight scratch across the barcode on the back and the plastic is torn there. This was to indicate it was a not for sale, promotional item. I also have a Redman Docs Da Name 2000 sealed LP up in another listing thanks for looking.

Clifford Smith Jr. (born March 2, 1971),[2] better known by his stage name Method Man, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer and actor. He is known as a member of the East Coast hip hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. He is also one half of the hip hop duo Method Man & Redman. He took his stage name from the 1979 film Method Man.[3] In 1996, Smith won a Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group, for "I'll Be There for You/You're All I Need to Get By", featuring American R&B singer Mary J. Blige.

Smith has appeared in films such as 187 (1997), Belly (1998), How High (2001), Garden State (2004), The Wackness (2008), Venom (2005), Red Tails (2012), Keanu (2016), and The Cobbler (2014). On television, he and frequent collaborator, fellow East Coast rapper Redman, co-starred on the short-lived Fox sitcom Method & Red. He has also had recurring roles in three HBO series, as Tug Daniels in Oz, Melvin "Cheese" Wagstaff in The Wire, and Rodney in The Deuce.[4] Method Man also appears in the TBS comedy The Last O.G..

Tical 2000: Judgement Day is the second studio album by American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Method Man. The album was released on November 17, 1998 under Def Jam Recordings. The album's title and overall theme were heavily influenced by the apocalypse theories surrounding the forthcoming end of the second millennium. Judgement Day features production from RZA, True Master, Inspectah Deck, 4th Disciple, Erick Sermon, Havoc, and Trackmasters, among others. Commercial performance[edit]

Tical 2000: Judgement Day debuted at number two on the US Billboard 200 chart, and number one on the US Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, while selling 411,000 copies in its first week.[10][11] Upon its release, the album received mostly favorable reviews from music critics, though several disapproved of its over-abundance of skits. On December 16, 1998, the album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of over one million copies.[12] As of October 2009, the album has 1,605,000 copies in the United States.[13]
