Description
Here is the classic second Metallica album.
Please read the description carefully at it has seen a bit of use and is not really going to be suitable for those particularly fussy about condition.
I have cleaned it up using a professional record cleaning machine and carefully inspected, tested and given a detailed and honest appraisal of condition.
It's priced well below the market average so all in all an enjoyable enough budget copy for someone to spin with their friends and relive the glory days of thrash metal.
Returns are free and no quibble if you are not 100% on it.

The record was a bit dusty and has been deep cleaned on a MOTH/2 RCM to remove that. The surface now looks a lot better but has lost some overall lustre.
There are some cosmetic signs the record was not looked after properly.
You will find some regular but not excessive wispy contact rubs about both sides along with some feeble hairline surface scratches or light scuff mark.
The record is free of deep scratches or nicks, horizontal groove scratches, cracks, damp, mould and that sort of thing.
The record sits flat and I have listened to pretty much all of it and have experienced no skipping or sticking.
Overall the sound is strong and powerful without clipping and buzzing on the higher frequencies.
There is some light background vinyl presence. Mainly in the opening grooves, dead wax, softer section or fade outs, however not overpowering the music.
Being a Metallica album you cannot notice this too much during most of the playback; when the band is at full pelt - and overall the songs sound as you might hope for, with an occasional pop coming through or some surface presence audible as mentioned.
SLEEVE
The sleeve has got general age and shelf wear, centre spine split, printed inner has some edge splitting and tape along the bottom.
Of note the original owner seems to have been a smoker as it has that odour about it but again, not overpoweringly so.
