Absolutely pristine copy of the super rare original 1987 white label promo pressing of Metallica’s Garage Days Re-Revisited EP on Elektra 607-57-1. The promo copies are very rare, but this one comes with the extremely rare press insert, a 5-page bio of the band up to that point with interview quotes and the story of the EP and their new bassist, on Elektra letterhead paper with artist relations contact info at the bottom. Very rare to find these press releases, as only a very few copies of the record had them, just the ones sent out for review. So hard to find… Gold promo stamp on the back of the cover, and “Promotional Copy: Not For Sale” on the labels. All of it is in top, minty condition. The disc appears unplayed and has not the slightest flaw. The cover is likewise near pristine, with only a promo cutout slit at the top left. The hype sticker that on standard copies was only on the shrinkwrap is actually attached to the cover. A black mark on the sticker and maybe some discoloration but barely. There is a small spot on the back cover at the bottom. Aside from that it is just about mint. The insert is also mint. This is a beautiful, rare promo original. Near impossible to beat.
