Description

This is an Advance pre-release cassette of Metallica's Load.  It was produced by Sterling Sound, the studio where Load was mastered at.  Advance cassettes such as this are incredibly rare and were provided to record company executives and industry people prior to the release of the album.  Whether or not this is the final mix is uncertain.
The cassette labels and cover are dated 5/3/96, which I suspect was a proposed release date for the album.  Quite possibly the only advance copy of Load still in existence.  The cassette appears unplayed and was fully tested prior to listing.  The cover shows pictured wear.  Please contact me if you have any questions.
