Here it is!  The UK release of “One” with sticker and poster!  You have heard about this one and now you finally have the opportunity to pick this up right here and now with “Buy It Now!”  The sticker reads “This single comes with FREE UNFOLDED poster – Ask at the counter.”  The included poster is the original.  I bought this at the Sound Exchange in Wayne, NJ.  As an added bonus, this little package will get you into Hector’s “Top 100 Collectors Club” as there are only 43 know owners of BOTH the single AND the poster.  Visit Hector’s site here, at .

This record is as MINT as it's gonna get!  Here is your 1st pressing One 7" in beautiful shape!  The colors are bright, vibrant and sharp!  There are NO CREASES on this beauty – NONE.   The sticker is in perfect shape and has never been tampered with.  The poster, however, is no longer “unfolded.”  To begin with, when I bought the single and got the poster, the poster was “lightly” folded.  Then over the years in storage, it became compressed, so the folds became creases – but the edges and corners are still nice and sharp!  The creases could be removed with some very careful ironing.  This poster was never hung or displayed in any way, but was kept in a plastic bag away from all light sources.  I never played this record, so this is given to you in MINT unplayed condition.  Even when I was sixteen(16) years old I poly bagged my vinyl ASAP and I took VERY good care of these things!!  The inner sleeve is in perfect shape.  The label is plain white with comical word-play track listings.  I think I bought this in the parking lot at a non-MetallicA concert about a year later!  See pix below for details.

STORY

I had just turned 15 when I first heard MetallicA in the early fall of 1984.  A friend had let me borrow “Ride the Lightening” on tape (Electra) and I immediately listened to it in my Walkman as I walked home thru the woods.  “For Whom the Bell Tolls” was cued and I became an instant fan.  I collected MetallicA vinyl from 1985 thru to 1991.  Man, I was right in the middle of it.  The majority of my collection is from Sound Exchange in Wayne, NJ.  I bought Acting Like a Maniac there in the spring of ‘86.  That was my first MetallicA live show on vinyl.  I continued to shop in NJ in Hoboken at Pier Platters, The Record Room in New Rochelle and Discount Records in Lodi and all across the North Jersey landscape.  I would frequently go into Manhattan (N.Y.C) to hit such record shops as It’s Only Rock N’ Roll, Revolver, Bleeker Bob’s, Second Coming, the Record Factory, et al., to look for interesting MetallicA vinyl.  Additionally, I visited various Record Conventions and shows in Northern NJ, from which I picked up some very fine stuff!  I am an old-school MetallicA fan who, well, cannot even very easily listen to the “Black” album and certainly not to anything else after that (I don’t even own the thing (the “Black” album).  1991 is when my MetallicA heart broke and I’ve never gotten over it.  Anyway . . .

This vinyl is the sterling article.  I am the original purchaser, collector and owner of this and every single piece of my collection that I put up here on eBay.  I am the one who shopped for, bought, played, listened to, put-on-tape, put-in-poly-sleeves, stored and kept-for-years this particular record . . . until now.  These beauties are now needing a new home and collector to enjoy them.  I am keeping a few gems for myself (for when I have a turntable again), but everything else is up for grabs.
