HISTORY:
First of all, I was the owner of the U.S. Independent Record Label, "WEB RECORDS", and I also subcontracted work from, "Megaforce Records", back in the mid 80's and early 90's. I also did freelance writing for many Heavy Metal Magazines, back in this time period, so I own a lot of collectible albums and memorabilia that I have stored away for many years. Now that I am growing close to 50 yrs old and my ears have sustained all the damage from loud music and concerts that they can take, it's time to let go of a few of my valuables!!!

You are bidding on an Original/Rare "METAL MASSACRE" 1984 U.S. Metal Picture Disc Set. Released in 1984, this was a super limited pressing box set issued by Metal Blade Records containing the 1st 5 "Metal Massacre" LP's on picture disc. Extremely rare, for only 1000 copies were pressed and numbered. All parts necessary for manufacture were destroyed at the conclusion of the pressing of the box, with a guarantee to never be repressed! Featuring a ton of classic 80's metal including, the original Metallica (featuring Dave Mustaine & Ron Mcgoverny), early Slayer, Cirith Ungol, Pandemonium, Malice, Armored Saint, Trauma, Warlord, Sacred Blade, Zoetrope, Steel Assasin, Hirax, Hades, and many more, as you will see.. Even Brian Slagel probably does not have one of these! Picture discs are mint and the box is worn has been taped in spots, (see the pics). Totally complete with booklet of bands history & includes iron-on for Metal Blade Records. This is definitely a rare and hard-to-find Set of Picture Discs from the days of the best original metal!!!
Heavy Metal Records and Memorabilia from the 80's is becoming very rare and collectible, so this is an excellent opportunity to own a part of the Heavy Metal Explosion or just to give as a gift to one of your favorite moshers!!!
