I RECENTLY PURCHASED A LARGE COLLECTION OF GREAT CONDITION STEREO CLASSICAL LPs PRESSED IN THE LATE 1950s AND EARLY 1960s, INCLUDING TITLES FROM THE MERCURY LIVING PRESENCE, RCA LIVING STEREO, AND LONDON FFss 'BLUEBACK' CATALOGS - I'LL BE OFFERING THESE LPs FOR THE NEXT FEW WEEKS - This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL EARLY 1960s PRESS MERCURY LIVING PRESENCE RECORDS U.S. PRESS STEREO LP containing performances of six Suppe overtures as performed by The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Paul Paray conducting. It is Mercury Living Presence Records catalog number SR-90269, rigid vinyl deep groove pressing, laminated front cover, maroon early 1960s Mercury Living Presence labels with silver print, RFR1/RFR1 stampers. Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of cover is a high VG+ with some wrinkles at the bottom right corner, a small price sticker and a little writing near the top right corner of the back cover, and a little wear along the edges and on the corners. Cover has no splits, tears, or other stickers. The original Mercury Living Presence inner sleeve with color pictures of other then-current Mercury Living Presence classical LPs is present and in good shape except for a small split in the middle of the bottom edge which has been repaired with clear tape. This rigid vinyl deep groove vintage press Living Presence LP would make a nice addition to any classical record collection!
