As you may or may not be aware, the first copies of this 7" (which never came in a pic cover) bore the multi-coloured fingerprints of the band-members on the plain white die-cut paper sleeve. That's true. What you may not know, is that Regular sent a few promo copies out with a photo-copied picture insert, the text of which explained a bit about the release (the fingerprinting, etc.).

According to the company director, they made about 30 of these, which they sent out themselves (as opposed to Festival, the distributor, doing so...as they would normally do). He also added, that 'they signed some copies' while in the fingerprinting process...and THIS is one of those. 

What makes this even more unique is the foldout plastic sleeve (with a stapled spine - this was all done in-house...no expense spared)...and because the 'A' side is "Peter O'Doherty's ode to the tragic break-up of ABBA's own Bjorn and Anna" (as states the insert)...they went the extra step of adding an ABBA single into the second sleeve for the very few promo's sent out in NEW ZEALAND...thus the ABBA 45 here is the NZ pressing of "The Winner Takes It All".

The whole thing ends up being a pretty unique New Zealand promo item. It was the only one in the entire Regular Records vinyl archive (which I bought in full, quite a few years ago).

CONDITION:   

OK...I use the following gradings (in descending order, from pristine down):

MINT, M-, EX (EX = most people's NM), EX-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G+, G  ...there should be very few of the last 2...if any...(for they would be deemed unworthy).

SLEEVES:   M-...the two white sleeves have a pair of staple holes on the very top edge (very insignificant)...the picture insert is MINT...

VINYL:  Mentals: MINT ...ABBA: M- ...
