Very cool and hard to funk original United States pressing of this Soul Funk 45 on the tiny Sunburst label out of New York City.  This was released in 1973.  “Synthetic Substitution” was supposed to be the B-side, but after being sampled by the Ultramagnetic MCs (and Naughty By Nature, among many others) it became one of the most sampled songs of all time.

The copy we are offering here is a very early pressing, with “Sunburst” on the very top of the record label with no logo.  Later pressings had the word “Sunburst” on the record label changed into a larger circular font with a yellow sun logo at the end.
