ARION , french original pressing , 30 T 079 , 1969
Ultra rare and essential french PSYCH session , made by DIDER DE SAINT JORES piano / JOSE B FADLA guitar ROBERT BALESTRO drums RICHARD RAUX sax / flute , MELMOTH is not an ususal psych group from france , the music is fine from start to end , the backing psych music is so fine close from progressive , with lots of colors and effects plus every menbers is a multi instrumentalist , lots of breaks witrh different moods .Second the lyrics are not boring but really realistic and trippy , finally the saxophonist RICHARD RAUX got a killer avant gard jazz vein , was probablyu hearing ARCHIE SHEPP and COLTRANE . Anyway the lp is dope from a to z so it is a very essential masterpiece of french psych , plus the item is beautiful with 1969 gatefold cover and killer glassed cover pics .. ..ESSENTIAL ...try six minutes long soundclip .
The condition of the lp is VG+ solid VG+ only a few superficial stripes , the lp play also solid vg+ with light surface noise , only medium surface noise during the last track of side a compiled in the soundlcip , i listen the whole lp at least three times , because it is the first time i have this cult lp under my fingers , and i garanty no pop no skipp during the whole listening , VERY SOLID VG+ VERY CLOSE TO VG++ and still a beautiful collector item .The inside gatefold has been signed by the friend of the last owner , but it is not so bad , the cover is ion VG++ with only light splits on the sides and singatire inside the gatefold ..TRUST ME THIS LP IS INCREDIBLE
