rare UK first press and SAMPLE COPY vinyl LP released 1972 on DERAM stereo label with catalognumber SDL 7.  There are promo stickers on both labels that state "SAMPLE COPY - NOT FOR SALE" ... The matrixnumbers are stamped and NOT etched:   Side 1:  ZAL -11141.P-1W   and on Side 2:   ZAL -11142.P-2W ...  and the inner circle on the labels are grooved.

The unlaminated foldout cover, complete with the original blue/white innersleeve 'Made in England'. all in fantastic NEARMINT condition with no writing, no tears, no seamsplits, with the spine fully readable, and the white parts remain white and clean... I have never seen a better copy over the years and I kept it well preserved in a resealable plastic cover in my collection over the years. The labels have no unwanted writing, no staining, no residue or tears and still have that original fresh look. The vinyl is absolutely fantastic and playgrades NEARMINT to MINT on my highend stereo (Koetsu Rosewood) equipment.  When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see VERY FEW, VERY LIGHT surface hair lines which were caused by removal and replacement in and out of the inner sleeve, there are no nasty marks or scratches. In normal daylight this album is perfect NEARMINT with the sound being full and crisp, without any loss of sound quality at all, just a wonderful sound stage and fantastic stereo seperation... these original DERAM pressings are second to none, same as the early Decca pressings... This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real keeper . Visually NEARMINT and even better the audio is NEARMINT/MINT - just wonderful!

I bought this copy in London back in the late 1990s from a Radio Station DJ and only played it once or twice since then... Collectors and audiophiles will know how hard it is to find this record in any condition, not to mention a promo copy in nearmint/mint condition. Don't miss this fantastic psychedelic folk masterpiece by Mellow Candle recorded with true audiophile soundquality...
