MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL UK EP - The Rattles "From Star Club, Hamburg - Teenbeat 1" (Decca DFE 8568) MONO. Recorded in 1964, as the 1st part of an EP "trilogy", this rare EP features The Rattles "live" at the Star Club, Hamburg. The tracks featured are:- "Money", Memphis Tennessee", "Everybody Loves A Lover", and "I'm Talkin' About You". GREAT authentic 60s "Beat" sound - LIVE!! Condition-wise, the vinyl grades as VG-, with a couple of surface "scuffs" that cause some background "crackle" during the "Money" track, but otherwise OK. The sleeve is also VG-, with some creases on the front(laminated) sleeve, a small edge tear, about 1/2 " inch long on the rear opening edge, plus the price of 30p written in small-ish felt-tip on both the rear cover and on both record labels(see scans). There are also some handling marks on the rear cover(see scan). Not a perfect copy, but nevertheless, still a VERY RARE item, that would suffice until that elusive mint condition copy comes along!!
