Description
MEGA-RARE ORIGINAL UK LP - Dana Gillespie "Box Of Surprises" Red Decca LK 5012) MONO. Released in 1969, this album, her first UK release, is now a MAJOR RARITY!! The album itself contains a varied mixture of music - folk, jazz, blues, so it's difficult to categorise. Tracks include "Box Of Surprises", "Foolish Seasons", "I Was A Book" all the songs on the album were self-written. The album was produced by the legendary Mike Vernon. The vinyl is in EX CONDITION, save for one light-ish scratch that produces a light "click" during the first track "Box Of Surprises". The sleve has edgewear and a couple of light abrasions on the front bottom edge(see scan). The spine writing is nice and clear.
