Description

MEGA-RARE!! ORIGINAL UK 1964 LP "The Mike Cotton Sound" (Blue/Black Columbia 33SX 1647) MONO. This must be one of the RAREST UK Jazz LPs around!! As stated, this LP was released in 1964, with the Mike Cotton Sound at that time comprising:- Mike Cotton, John Beecham, Johnny Crocker, Stu Morrison, Jimmy Garforth, Dave Rowberry(Later to join The Animals), and Tony Pitt. Tracks include a GREAT version of "Water Melon Man", "Love Potion No. 9", "How Long Can This Go On?" etc etc. Superb album, and SO rare!! Both the vinyl and sleeve are in EX/EX CONDITION, aprt from some very minor damage to the right edge flipback, and one crease on the front(laminated) cover near the opening edge.
