We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. - Northwind has been likened to that of the twin-lead guitar style of early Wishbone Ash with refined vocals. The songs are spiced with those aforementioned twin guitars AND tasteful organ with additional percussion throughout.
This is their extremely-rare and entirely enjoyable only album, issued by legendary collected REGAL ZONOPHONE label of this Scottish rock band known long time ago as Northwind
Like most of the bands in the 60’s, Northwind started their career by playing local club shows, including when they gathered fan's when known as "The Power Of Music" playing around Glasgow Scotland alongside more popular underground rock groups, some 50+ years ago.
The Northwind members headed for Germany and were highly inspired to write songs for this beautiful panoramic album ...created when they discovered their psychedelic experiences in Frankfurt Germany in 1971.
- Once they came back in Glasgow they signed with the production company run by Tony Calder, former manager of The Rolling Stones and Marianne Faithfull, and then inked a deal with then emerging British based Regal Zonophone label to record their (now very rare) only album.
This 1971 recording took place at Regent Sounds Studio in London where The Rolling Stones, The Yardbirds and Pink Floyd also recorded, as well as at equally renowned Sound Techniques studio, while the final process of acetate disc cutting was overseen at Apple Studio.
Northwind (only) album “Sister, Brother, Lover…” was released in 1971 only on Regal Zonophone in the UK and France, selling more than 10,000 copies.
- Northwind went on tour supporting the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Free, Deep Purple, Yes and Hawkwind.
- Sadly...without much support from the management and the label, they soon disbanded. Thereafter Northwind member Brian Young built a studio in his basement for his musician friends and eventually became a renowned mastering engineer, while other members have also remained active in music throughout the 70’s to the present day.
“Sister, Brother, Lover…” fuses the elements of various genres which made up the British underground rock scene in 1971.
