We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +21,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - a WEST COAST underground rock band were to be direct links to the mighty Peanut Butter Conspiracy, who were kicked off a Jefferson Airplane tour, when they upstaged The Airplane prompting then manager BILL (legendary) GRAHAM to insist, NO MORE PEANUT BUTTERS...

- The above line-up is that featured on the album. This Los Angeles band's original drummer was, of course, Spencer Dryden, before he joined Jefferson Airplane. The remaining members, aside from Taylor, later teamed up with Bill Wolff, Lance Feat and Sandi Robinson to become The Peanut Butter Conspiracy.
From the summer of 1965 up until May of 1966, the Ashes served as the house band at a club in Santa Monica called the Waleback. Around the time of the first Ashes single, Spencer Dryden left to replace Skip Spence in Jefferson Airplane.
With the addition of two new members, the ASHES transformed into the Peanut Butter Conspiracy, who of course recorded two albums for Columbia in 1967. John Merrill resurrected Ashes in late 1968, around the same time that Alan Brackett was working on the tracks that would ultimately constitute the Peanut Butter Conspiracy's
"FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES" album.
- The new Ashes recorded their first and only LP for Vault Records; it stands today as a staple of the collector's market, routinely fetching up to $300 or more on eBay due to its major rarity status. The album also featured singer Pat Taylor standing in for Barbara Robison (who could not appear on this record due to contractual obligations). The LP's release was delayed being released until 1970.

- The cover: rated: near M- outstanding condition for a dark wear-prone cover ... PROMOTIONAL STICKER on front cover ... NOTE: this is the only copy we ever came across in 15 years ...solid everywhere, has NO shelf wear...there are no delete marks, no bends, no seam splits -- extremely rare PROMO , good luck finding another 52 years ago pre-release of this rarity! altogether should still be a great score for any music library with the MINT clean vinyl within.
