Description
This is a very rare opportunity to bid on a very rare item, one I've never seen on eBay before, and valued at £200 in mint condition in the 2006 Rare Record Price Guide.
This is the original UK issue of Meet the Temptations, by Motown's top male vocal group, on TML 11009, released in the UK in mono (it was never issued in stereo.
It includes all their early single releases for Motown, most not available on UK issue vinyl anywhere else. These were not released in the UK, and some on the short-lived Motown subsidiary Miracle label in the States.
The album has been in my private collection for 35 years, and has been very well cared for, as all my vinyl is. The laminated flipback sleeve shows barely any creasing, and there is only slight wear down the opening edge. The black on white rear cover is remarkably clean. There is one drawing pin hole showing on both front and rear covers.
The vinyl has no marks and retains most of its factory sheen. It plays with slight deteriotation in sound quality.
