Description

On offer here is the much sought after vinyl version of Meat Loaf' s Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell with words by Jim Steinman.
This copy bears a sticker on the reverse cover "Manufacturers Copy NOT FOR SALE". It also has a small price sticker on the front cover.
The jacket and replacement audiophile black Nagaoka anti-static inner sleeve are in excellent plus condition with no splits, rips or writing and just minimal handling and shelf wear as evidenced by the photos.
The record has been play tested and I can report with over 30 minutes playing time on EACH side the compression of the grooves does mean you will need to crank up the volume and this in turn has a knock on effect on the usual background surface noise. Visually the disc looks in excellent condition, please note on Side 1 there are intermittent clicks on the intro and during track 1 and sticks once towards the end of track 2. Under a strong light I could not detect the flaw so it may be the result of dirt in the groove but I cannot swear to this hence I would conservatively grade Side 1 as VG-, solely because of this flaw otherwise it's a strong VG++. Side 2 is similar with intermittent clicks on the intro and during tracks but otherwise plays through without jumps or sticks, so grades VG++ I would say the powerful nature of the vocals and instrumentation mean any imperfections are infrequent and do NOT have a significant impact on the enjoyment of the record.
