Description

The legendary MEAT LOAF with BAT OUT OF HELL III - THE MONSTER IS LOOSE from 2006! The 3rd and final installment to "ROCK's MOST EPIC ADVENTURE" features long time collaborator JIM STEINMAN and DESMOND CHILD. This is the extremely LIMITED EDITION pressing on RED TRANSLUCENT vinyl! There is a version out there pressed on black vinyl which is also hard to find, but this one is even more elusive. How do I know it's RED if its still sealed...? Well, I can 100% assure you that this has never been opened all the way. However, there is a split in the shrink wrap along the jacket seam opening (clearly pictured in the photos) and I took a careful look inside. I can confirm that YES - THIS IS THE RED TRANSLUCENT VINYL pressing! Unbelievably rare and quite possibly the rarest vinyl release in the entire MEAT LOAF catalog. There are ZERO copies of this for sale right now on eBay or Discogs and you have to go WAY back to find when the last copy was even up for sale. Who knows how many of these were pressed...?!?! Not sure, but I can guarantee there weren't many. If you're a MEAT LOAF fan, this is holy grail material right here. I'll be unloading some hard to find albums at killer prices during these strange and turbulent times...and you'll be sure to find some gems if you keep an eye on my listings!

I CLEAN AL RECORDS BEFORE I LIST THEM! Condition always varies with used items - please keep in mind that VG+ means average, used condition with no significant defects in my grading scale...pretty much somewhere right in middle...not a top copy but far from junk. VG is on the lower end of my grading scale and I try not to go any lower than that. EX and up and it's in well above average condition. PLEASE READ GRADING DETAILS BELOW!

If you haven't bought from me before, here's 3 quick things you need to know about me as a seller:

1) I HAVE A LOT OF FUN DOING THIS! I WANT YOU TO HAVE FUN TOO! I'M EASY TO TALK TO - JUST LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR CONCERNS. I'M HERE FOR THE PARTY!

2) I am very proud of my feedback, and it should tell you a lot about my history on eBay. I actually really truly care about making this a positive transaction for both of us.

3) All of my records are cleaned with the Spin Clean MK-II. It does a fantastic job. Remember - cleaning them doesn't remove the scratches of scuffs, but it does remove the grime and fingerprints and dust and bong resin and Cheetos flakes. I'll put it this way: if I were selling a used car, there's no way I would put it on the lot with a price tag on it if I haven't cleaned it first. And when I get a used record in the mail, it makes me so much happier when it's already cleaned and ready to go. It takes time and effort to do this but I want you to be happy. Plus, it's easier to grade and see how many marks are on the record after it gets a bath. Hip hip HOORAY! We win!

JACKET GRADE: EX (Small notch cut in upper left along the spine - see photos for details...maybe this is a PROMO copy? Could very well be. Shrink is opened along top portion of the jacket opening seam but this is still very much 100% sealed, virgin vinyl that hasn't been out of the jacket.)

INNER SLEEVE: *SEALED* (Will include original inner sleeves.)

ADDITIONAL INFO: None.

DUDES AND DUDETTES - I CLEAN MY RECORDS. I TAKE GOOD PHOTOS. I ACTUALLY LIKE TO SIT HERE AND GRADE THEM WHEN MY KIDS ARE IN BED. I'M HAVING A GAS - YOU SHOULD TOO!

Most of my albums (both jackets and discs) show their age and have been visibly used over the years. I have cleaned each and every one of these and given them a visual grade (and will also play grade - time permitting - if they show questionable surface marks).  I will try to be as specific as possible with the imperfections in the details below and will note when there is something significant. Most of these will be decent players at higher volume levels so if that's what you're after, go for it. I have a full time job and don't really do this for the money - most of the time the money I make goes right back into more records for my collection. I have 2 young kids and this is called "daddy" time in the basement. I absolutely do NOT want to attempt to rip off anyone...I'm here for the party, man!

This is available to INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS, but it will be EXPENSIVE TO SHIP! PLEASE USE THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR BEFORE BIDDING! ALL PACKAGES OVER 4 LBS. ARE REQUIRED TO BE SENT VIA USPS PRIORITY MAIL.

***NO SHIPPING TO ITALY***NO WAY***NEVER AGAIN***

Overall, anything with a grade of 7/VG+ will show some surface wear and/or needle marks but nothing deep. Anything with that grade will still play fine in my book. Obviously if it's an 8/EX or 9/NrMINT it will be in fantastic condition. Please note the subjective nature of grading; your VG+ might be my VG or my VG+ might be someone else's EX - you just have to pay attention, read my grading scale, and most importantly - ASK QUESTIONS.

HERE'S HOW I GRADE:

MINT (Sealed, perfect condition.)

NEAR MINT (Like new with only a hint of wear.)

EX (Very few blemishes. Maybe a couple light scratches on the vinyl or a few light creases to the jacket. Serious collectors will be satisfied with this grade. Some would call this Near MINT, but to me that grade is designated for something that's been opened and never played.)

VG++ (A step below EX and a step above VG+. In above average condition and will be a very nice copy.)

VG+ (Average, used condition. Most of my vinyl and jackets are in this condition. Vinyl will show playwear/scratches, but nothing deep and it will play through fine. You may encounter a "pop" or two or some light background noise. The jacket may have creasing, edgewear, ring wear, or corner dings but nothing significant.)

VG (Vinyl/jacket may will show a fair to moderate amount of wear .Vinyl may show a number of scratches and you will likely experience some background noise during playback, but NO skips. The jacket may show a fair amount of wear in the form of creasing, edgewear, ring wear, writing, seam splits, etc.)

VG- (Rarely will I sell anything of this grade unless it is a collector item with some value. Moderate to heavy wear on the vinyl and/or jacket.)

I WILL DETAIL ANY IMPERFECTIONS TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY IN MY ITEM DESCRIPTION! HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY!
