EXTREMELY seldom seen ... for whatever reason this 3rd and final Peanut Butter Conspiracy album NEVER (never) turns up as the original '69 pressing ...
Ralph Schuckett, keyboardist with the Los Angeles 1967 psychedelic band CLEAR LIGHT joins the Peanut Butter Conspiracy for their last album, the extremely rare "Children Of All Ages" ... There is a hint of a Vanilla Fudge sound, and Alan Brackett's vocals sound straight out of Boston band Ultimate Spinach. Barbara Robison's voice on "Try Again" is hardly Grace Slick, but it adds a hippie vibe one expects from this band, wen suddenly strange sound effects make the listener think the tone arm has lifted off the disc prematurely. Barbara Robison's contribution to "It's Alright" puts this group closer to New Colony Six meets Spanky & Our Gang. "Out in the Cold Again" would have worked better had Robison sang lead, and when she's not singing, this band sounds like Big Brother & the Holding Company's first album for the Mainstream Record label.

CONDITION: The cover: rated: near M- beautiful cover - the only copy we ever located before was worn VG so here's a TOP SURVIVOR. Always has been a near impossible item to locate, obviously since it hasn't turned up anywhere in 50 years has to be considered a major rarity on par with some of the hardest to find ROCK Lp's within collector circles. Chances are it was only a very limited release and was not distributed. Again harder to find than many Psych & rock rarities that sell for many times more. There is a large PROMOTIONAL STAMP ON BACK COVER. This is a SUPER CLEAN copy regarding this highly prone-to-wear cover. There are no delete marks, no split seams, no bends, and no writing ... VERY collection worthy ...
