Cover and inner...
Sleeve is in good sound condition. The spine is in great condition, though not perfect. The top edge is even better. There is some wear to the bottom edge. The open edge has a bit of wear. Some creasing of the laminate (please see photos). The back in very nice condition with a bit of grubbiness. The inner sleeve has not survived so well. It appears to be of a greaseproof paper type and is in poor condition. I have placed the vinyl in an anti static sleeve.
Vinyl...
A bit of general wear, with the odd very light scratch and the odd distintive mark. Mostly noticeable is a 2mm scratch on the first track, almost inaudable and a scuff type scratch on side 2 (about 7mm long). Please see listening below for more on this.
Listening...
I have just played this record and it was a joy to listen to. Here are the random notes I made during listening...
Background crackle... Both sides start a little noisy but settle quickly, especially side 1 so background crackle prob varying from VG to Mint-. Background noise mostly not noticeable during tracks, some background noise noticeable during tracks here and there, not intrusive.. more like a reminder that it is an LP. Music itself is fresh and clear, no breakup of sound. A couple of ticks on the first track of side 2. There are some clicks at the end of the third track of side 2 (the scuff type mark mentioned earlier) running into track 4. Most of them are quite quiet, though around half a dozen or so are fairly loud (about as loud as the music). Still... these few clicks on side 2 are not unbearable.
All in all, a very nice copy of this piece of history.
