Description
A very collectable OZ music gem
Vinyl Grade: +VG, a high/strong +VG, lovely gloss surface, side 1 about five small very light marks and a light scratch across most of track one. Side 2 about seven small very light marks. Overall you would not expect these to cause noticeable surface noise.
Sound Quality: Fully play tested loud, side 1 has excellent sound as expected from an EX grade apart from four clicks at the very start of track two. Side 2 has about ten clicks on track one caused by that mentioned scratch on track one. The other five tracks on side two have excellent sound as expected from an EX grade.
Cover: fine flat cover, front has only faint ring impression, minor wear opening edge, back cover has age discoloration brown spots, paint on lower left corner, name/date written on right corner and price sticker. A few photos of cover included to help show cover condition.
Labels: clear
Records graded directly under very bright table light for the visual grade. Sound quality checked by playing to ensure that visual grade and sound quality are consistent.
Mint M and Near Mint NM: Looks perfect as new. N and NM is only appropriate for new reissue records and not for vintage vinyl that has been played, regardless of how perfect it may look.
Excellent Plus +EX: Lovely gloss, no visible scratches, scuffs or marks. Has been played but has been handled well and still in great condition. (highest grade that I use for vintage vinyl)
Excellent EX: Lovely gloss, shows some slight signs of wear, including light trace/hairlines from the inner sleeve, light scuffs or very light marks that you would not expect to hear as surface noise.
Very Good Plus +VG: Shows a few more very light marks than is allowable for EX so not quite EX. These signs of use would be expected to cause some light surface noise but not to detract from the music.
Very Good VG: Shows light scratches and marks and some that you would expect to cause surface noise, especially in soft passages, between tracks and during a song?s intro and ending but not so much as to overpower the music which can still be enjoyed.
Very Good Minus -VG: Shows significant wear and marks that you would expect to cause noticeable surface noise that detracts from the music.
Good G: In the record world, 'Good' is not good! From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about beat-up records lacking much of the original gloss and with many scratches and marks that you would expect to cause very noticeable surface noise and clicks/pops that seriously detract from enjoyment of the music.
