MASSIVE ATTACK Blue Lines - 1991 UK debut LP - one of the great British classics of the nineties, kicking off with the Billy Cobham-sampled 'Safe From Harm' & including everything in between such as an inspired cover of William DeVaughn's 'Be Thankful For What You've Got', the unstoppable hit 'Unfinished Sympathy' & the majestic closer 'Hymn Of The Big Wheel' with Horace Andy, all performed in their own natural tongue that put Bristol on the map. The labels read only 'Massive' (the group were forced to change their name due to the outbreak of the Gulf War in 1990!) whereas the picture sleeve still reads 'Massive Attack'.
