Description
On offer is the 1995 LP by MARY BLACK on GRAPEVINE RECORDS, catalogue number GRALP 014.
Condition can be conservatively described as NEAR MINT, with still shiny grooves, no scratches, no scuffmarks, no pops, no sticking and no background noise. Similarly, the cover is in near mint to excellent condition, with no yellowing, no grubbiness and no writing, straight edges and only very slight ring-wear. The inner with song lyrics is excellent with slight ring-wear. The labels have no wear, no writing, and no spindle marks. Played once, or perhaps not at all (I played the first side with a new stylus for grading purposes: it was pristine).
"Obscure folk in mint condition !! What's not to like !!!" - stormcrowfolk, from the 100% Feedback Profile.
The album comes from the collection of the late Ian Chappell, director of the Hampshire-based South Eastern Museums Service. A devoted collector of folk music, Chappell would obsessively buy multiple copies of the same record in search of vinyl perfection. They were acquired by the seller at auction from Omega Auctions of Stockport in June 2012.
To be shipped in the STRONGEST 625 MICRON BEST 12” BROWN BOARD MAILER COMPLETE WITH 2 STIFFENERS and plastic sleeve.
