MARVELETTES
Please Mr. Postman

(Tamla TM 228)

Original 1961 mono LP on the white Tamla label, featuring the first Motown single (the title track) to reach #1 on the pop charts. Extremely hard to find on the white "globes" label.

Record is VG+ with nice surface gloss; one faint surface mark on the first track on Side 2 which is not audible. Both sides play cleanly and sound great. There are initials written on the A-side label. Cover is VG+/VG++ with light ring wear and a very faint name stamp. Spine and seams are in nice shape with no splits or fraying.
