PLAYBOY, THE MARVELETTES (TAMLA 231, mono LP, USA; 1963)
Here's a lovely copy of the mega-rare 1963 Marvelettes LP! This is a first pressing, on the primitively designed, blue and white early Tamla label. This was released prior to "Beechwood 45789" becoming a big hit. Thus, it lacks the sticker commonly found on this album's jacket.
Condition: JACKET has minimal ringwear and rubwear to front and back covers. Spine and seams are lightly worn but intact. Call it VG++/FINE. (Here's a look at the LP's back jacket, with song titles displayed):VINYL: this disc has some paper scuffs and fingerprints to surface. Some discoloration to vinyl, which retains great luster to its grooves. Labels are clean and smooth. A cleaning will undoubtably improve the quality of this disc. Call it FINE, by our admittedly conservative grading standards.
