MARSUPILAMI - ARENA
1971 UK TRANSATLANTIC TRA-230 (A-2U - B-2U)
Here is a superb original uk first pressing of the bands second and last uk progressive rock album. 'Marsupilami's' 1971 album 'Arena' is every bit as good as the brilliant self-titled 1970 debut. Both albums were released on the Transatlantic record label and both sold very poorly, these albums are now extremely rare and are very highly regarded amongst fans and collectors of prog-rock music. This original uk copy has the vinyl in superb EX+ barely played condition, and the lightly textured single card cover is in very good condition. This is really excellent clean playing copy that will definitely not disappoint.
CONDITION
Both sides of the vinyl are in EX to EX+ very clean condition. There are no bad surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all, there are just a few light signs of careful play, both sides play and sound excellent throughout with just tiny amounts of very light background crackle and the odd sporadic light tic. This album has not been played much at all so there is no lessoning in the sound quality. Both labels are in brilliant very clean condition with no marks or wear. The lightly textured single card sleeve is in very good condition. The front top right corner has a few strips of clear tape attached which have yellowed with age, the cover is not ripped and the tape is not covering up anything, so why somebody has stuck this tape onto the sleeve is a bit of a mystery, some of the strips have been removed and the rest could perhaps be removed with great care. The back cover has some light wear and a few small marks. There is consistent shelf wear to the top and bottom edges and the spine also has wear at the top and bottom and also a few other smaller areas of wear, but there are no seem splits. Both of the bands album covers are made from pretty thin card and both and are textured and so are very difficult to find without some signs of wear an marking.

I keep all Post Office Payment Recipes as proof of postage. I always print my name and address on the back of all parcels i send, so the chances of a item going missing are pretty much nil. The recorded post option is always there, it may cost a few extra pounds for international buyers, but it is definitely worth it for the extra piece of mind.
