ORIGINAL ITALIAN 1st PRESS, JUMP RECORDS (J-0130 LP) STEREO. Splendind library album featuring the cream of Italian jazz scene and among them the unsung saxophone player Larry Nocella from Naples and the Brazilian drummers Mauricio Chiappeta. The whole album is just great, not a weak track: the Coltrane-sque “Recreation” (with Nocella smashing on saxophone), the Brazilian tinged rhythm of “Smiling Larry”, the afro jazz “Black Safari”, the free jazz invention of “Free impulse”, the strata east style of “Astral bird”, the monster jazz funk “High Street”. My very high recommendation for you. Rare one!
