Conditions : cover shows a little brown stain on the lower left corner while in the back the browning leaves in a broader way a faded stain along the edge of right side, please look to image nr. 2, possibly caused by the fall of a liquid substance. Slight traces of ring wear, EX / vinyl has some scuffs which do not affect play at all, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a turntable Rega Planar 3 with a moving magnet cartridge Grado Statement 1. I listen EPs and singles 45  rpm. on a turntable Thorens TD 166 BC with a MM cartridge Goldring 1006. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : sebbene non accreditate nelle note di copertina ed etichetta, le musiche e le liriche delle quattro canzoni sono di Irving Berlin. Alfred e Lionel Newman si alternano alla direzione della 20th Century Fox Orchestra e Coro. L’inconfondibile e affascinante voce vellutata di Marilyn Monroe non tramonterà mai nonostante il passare del tempo e l'arrivo di tante nuove e brave artiste.

Notes : although uncredited in the cover liner notes and on the label music and lyrics of the four songs are by Irving Berlin. Alfred and Lionel Newman alternate with the direction of the 20th Century Fox Orchestra and Chorus. The unique and fascinating silky voice of Marilyn Monroe will never wane despite the passage of time and the arrival of so many new and good artists.
