Description

First time ever on eBay for this incredibly rare UK private label female folk album from 1971.

Side One has numerous surface scuffs and very light scratches, but nothing deep. Fortunately it plays fine, with surface noise throughout but no sticks, jumps or distortion.

Side Two looks slightly better, although there are two light scratches (not too heavy or deep) right across it. Again, there is surface noise but no sticks, jumps or distortion.

Despite the surface noise, the disc has a nice clear sound throughout, and in my opinion it has a greater clarity than either the vinyl or CD reissue, which was mastered from a cassette!  As this was such a tiny pressing, there is no catalogue number or label name.

The sleeve (actually two pieces of card) is in solid Ex condition. As there was a printed running order mistake on Side Two, there is a correction slip lightly stuck onto the sleeve in the appropriate place.  I have photographed this with the correction slip in place and also pulled back.

For some reason, the record has the labels for Side Two on both sides.

Almost certainly a one-off chance to purchase what is probably the rarest UK folk album of the era!

As this is such a rare item, I have recorded the entire LP to CDR and then transferred it to Soundcloud.  Judge the condition of all 12 tracks for yourself via the following link:
