Description
You are bidding on a very rare LP by MARIANNE FAITHFULL. It is called "The World Of Marianne Faithfull" and it was issued in the UK in 1969. It was released on Decca Records - PA.17. Mega rare MONO issue! Original first pressing with red ungrooved boxed Decca label. With ARL-8748.P-1A/ARL-8749.P-1A matrixes, indicating a very first issue. Beautiful female pop/beat/folk record by Miss Faithfull, discovered by ROLLING STONES manager Andrew Loog Oldham in 1964. Session musicians include: JIMMY PAGE and BIG JIM SULLIVAN (uncredited). Record comes with original inner sleeve!
Songs featured are: As Tears Go By, This Little Bird, Summer Nights, Scarborough Fair, Monday Monday, Come And Stay With Me, Is This What I Get For Loving You, Yesterday, Tomorrow's Calling, In My Time Of Sorrow and Go Away From My World.
Condition of the sleeve: VG++ (some very slight wear, some ringwear and discoloring on the back)
Condition of the record: VG++ (has slight scuffs. Beautiful clean labels, plays brilliantly on my record player).
