Here's yet another album that looks and plays great!
Issued in a fold out sleeve with lattice windows,it is numbered (000189) and stamped "Special Limited edition" on the front..
Some copies were given away as a prize in a pop magazine competition, these came with a letter from the magazine and some were signed by Bolan..This copy don't have such a letter, nor is it signed by Bolan..
It is,however in GREAT condition..Especially the sleeve which is such a delicate design and easily prone to damage..
Issued on EMI in 1974..BLNA 7751..It has A1/B3 matrix numbers..The stampers are:1AG and 1GP..It is a UK pressing..Complete with inner lyric sleeve (this has a small seam split to the bottom and a hint of discshape)....
The sleeve (non laminated and gatefold) grades as EX...It's made of fairly flimsy card which is easily prone to damage, especially with the delicate slats in the windows....There is a hint of discshape to the back and a little rubbing to the back bottom edge..The front top right corner has a little wear..It looks as if a sticker has been removed at some stage and this has revealed a little of the white card,it's not a serious defect..The sleeve has NO other defects or damage..None of ths slats are damaged, repaired or missing..
There are no rips or tears,no seam splits or writing,no sellotape or tape marks..
All the text on the spine is clearly legible and the disc plays flat on the turntable with no edge warps...
The disc looks a strong EX+++..It's clean and undamaged with NO scratches, scuffs or other marks..
I have play graded this record and it plays MINT..There are no clicks or pops and no crackle/background noise..Overall,the sound is clean and undistorted..I may have been the first person to have played this!..
The labels are undamaged and there is NO spindle wear to the areas around the centre holes...
UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or collect it from The Southend Record Fair (12th December,9th January),where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...NEW VENUE for this fair is West Leigh Schools on the A13..SS9 2JB.
