Description
MANY BRIGHT THINGS (private pressing)
- Condition : NEW / UNPLAYED from distributor stock. This is a box set and two corners of the box lid have split slightly from being in a crate of LP's since I ordered the LP. SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION!
- Description : 1997 numbered edition (this is number 117 of 300 made) of excellent modern psychedelia from Indiana. You get a box with pasteon slicks, the LP with custom labels on clear / purple splash wax, an info insert, an illustrated poem by Paul Tescher, a small handmade watercolor painting(!) by band leader Stan Denski, another very psychedelic b&w art insert, and also the actual 'bright things' referenced in the title: an assortment of glittery small objects that one might find in a bead shop or scrapbooking shop, which tend to just get mixed around inside the box and other contents (I will put the LP into a separate blank LP jacket outside the box for safe shipment). This is the only spare I have left of this one, I'm not selling my own copy either so don't wait on this one as the two LP's done under this name and related project In The Summer Of The Mushroom Honey have acquired a certain cult status over the last decade-plus of obscurity. I also have a spare of the other Many Bright Things LP up this week, see my other auctions.
- Buyer pays $7 for priority / delivery conf. shipment OR $3.50 for media mail / delivery conf. shipment in USA; foreign billed at approximate cost (see rates below). Combine multiple wins to save on shipping. PA residents must add 6% sales tax.
- IMPORTANT: Records are shipped in a cardboard record mailer with sufficient padding.
- GUARANTEE: Condition of this item is guraranteed to be as stated in the above description. Sorry, I do not guarantee "musical content". If you are going to bid high on an unfamiliar album, consider first checking out the sounds online or via a reissue, etc in order to avoid potential disappointments. You cannot return a record simply because you don't like the music.
- I do not end auctions early. No offense, but if you ask, you will not receive a reply, sorry.
- Please do not ask me to email you with a list of every song on an LP. If you are looking for a specific song, inquire with the name of the song, I'll check ASAP to see if it's on the LP and reply promptly, but I don't have time to type out the names of every track, sorry to say. Also, sorry but requests from underbidders along the lines of "I didn't win, could you A) dub the record to CD for me B) ask the high bidder to dub the record to CD for me or C) give me the winner's email so I can ask" are ignored due to legal and privacy concerns.
- I have been selling records via mail order since 1989. Bid with confidence!
- ALL US shipments are sent with delivery confirmation included in the shipping cost. I will insure any package sent within the USA worth over $100 for no extra cost. OVERSEAS: the cheaper shipping option on your invoice (First Class Mail International) does not include insurance or tracking. With FCMI service, Registered Mail (includes tracking number and requires your signature upon delivery) is available for $10.80 extra per parcel; if you want Registered Mail added to your FCMI parcel, ask. The higher price option on your invoice (Priority Mail International) includes a tracking number and, to most countries, around $80 in insurance coverage, as part of the shipping cost. However, Registered Mail service is not available with Priority Mail International service.
SEE MY OTHER EBAY AUCTIONS for similar items. 1990s "stash box" find up this week, I ran across a box of sealed / unplayed LP's I bought in the 1990s and put in a crate and forgot about until now. Also check my store (link above) for SEALED vintage rock & psych warehouse find LPs from the 1960s-early 1970s. All of the records listed for auction are ORIGINALS, not reissues! If you need to ask me about any label variations, matrix numbers, etc., please do so BEFORE you bid. Thanks.
THANKS FOR VIEWING THIS ITEM!
