Description
Ultra rare Manic Street Preachers 7" Vinyl Single.
This is the very first release by the Manics, of which only 300 were ever made. I believe that 200 of those had the blue sleeve as does this example.
It is a double A side single with the A side featuring Suicide Alley and the AA side featuring Tennessee (I get low), both of these songs were later re released in slightly different formats.
It was recorded at Sound Bank Studio in June 1988 and released on SBS records as SBS002.
The cover is a little worn as you'd expect with a 20 year old rarity but is generally in good condition. The record itself still plays well and is still a bloody great couple of songs! The Clash-esque cover photo has the band (minus Richey Edwards who wasn't a proper band member at this time) stood together in an alleyway wearing white trousers and tops with black leather jackets looking moody...
Still an incredible rarity that still remains as elusive as ever and is one of the ultimate Manics collectables
