Manic Street Preachers amazingly rare 7" titled FEMININE IS BEAUTIFUL. The two tracks on this are New Art Riot and Repeat After Me. This demo got the Manics their first gig in London which got reviewed. Bob Stanley liked it so much he had it pressed up on 7" for his friends. Only 500 copies were made. How many remain is anyone's guess. This copy is MINT. It came to me direct from Hall or Nothing, the Manics early publicists, before they became huge. With it I have the original note from Bob, on which he enthuses 'They sound f**king great'. Also a short letter on Hall or Nothing paper possible written by a band member? I honestly don't know, it's signed Anxiety is Freedom M.S.P., but it says 'a demo which got us our first ever gig'. Either way it's an interesting thing to have with it. Record Collector put a value of £120 on the vinyl alone.
This is a beautiful item. The record has never been played. The wraparound paper sleeve has a very slight crease across the top corner. It comes in it's original polythene cover.
