VERTIGO LABEL 1969 FIRST UK PRESSING WITH PHILIPS CREDIT, GATEFOLD SLEEVE & SWIRL INNER IN EXCELLENT PLAYING CONDITION.

Released in 1969 on the VERTIGO spiral / swirl label, I am offering today this very seldom offered rare Original first UK pressing of this progressive classic album by MANFRED MANN titled "CHAPTER THREE".
The album is a very rare first pressing with the PHILIPS credit at the bottom of the label not an easy album to find these days. The album comes complete with original poly lined Vertigo inner sleeve, which apart from some small tears around the centre hole is very clean.
The matt gatefold sleeve is showing some edge wear and there is a sticker removal tear on both the front and back but overall is very respectable.
I have just played this through for these listing purposes and it plays through nicely. Needless to say absolutely no sticks or skips etc. A nice playing examples of this Vertigo classic.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually is shows several dull patches which looks to be caused in the manufacturing and they do not effect the audio as audibly this is in excellent condition. I have just played it through and can state that it plays with absolutely no nasty sticks or skips etc. Overall this is a very nice playing example.
The SLEEVE, The gatefold sleeve is in clean condition but is showing some wear to the edges and there are sticker tears to the front and rear.
The LABELS, The Vertigo spiral swirl labels are very clean, showing virtually no spindle traces. Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc, and there is the Philips credit which were only on the initial release
The INNER, The original Vertigo poly lined inner sleeve is clean and free from splits etc but is showing some splits to the area around the hole and there is a small ink mark in the top right hand corner.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,
